Siyu Cao is Beijing graphic designer. She came to the conclusion during the years of studying and working in the US, France, and Great Britain that foreign people know very little about her country and that most of the things she knows are based on stereotypes. Then the girl wanted to draw culture comic books. This is how the project Tiny Eyes came into being.

Siyu has been posting storeys of her life on her Instagram page for over a year. She tells her subscribers about her country’s customs and the people’s attitude. Such humorous and accurate comic illustrations are, according to the kid, an alternate source of knowledge about China.
