Ananya Panday, a Bollywood star youngster who has previously been in films such as Student of the Year 2, Khaali Peeli, Pati Patni Aur Woh, and Gehraiyaan, among others, has spoken out about Bollywood’s most controversial topic,’NEPOTISM.’
During an interview with a top media source, the daughter of actor Chunky Panday admitted that coming from a film family has given her an advantage over other celebrities because ‘access is the most difficult thing to overcome.’
Ananya Panday says nepotism exists in many industries, not just Bollywood.
Ananya Panday added, “Without hesitating to embrace being a product of nepotism,” “Because of my parents, I had the opportunity to meet someone like Karan Johar. But I also believe that you can gain entry, but what you do in that space is entirely up to you. People will not spend their money in you if you have access but lack the talent to back it up. Having said that, I believe nepotism does occur in the entertainment industry, and not just in Bollywood.”
The 23-year-old actress, who is due to play alongside Vijay Deverakonda in Puri Jagannadh’s Liger, also claimed that she wanted to be a part of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy since she thought it was a “interesting” film. Meanwhile, Ananya is now filming Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Zoya Akhtar. She will be seen romancing Siddhant and Adarsh Gourav in the film.
