After leaving the Indian team after the third Test against England, Jasprit Bumrah was also left out of the five-match T20 series against England. The reason for leave was given as “personal,” but it was later revealed that Bumrah had requested time off because he was getting married.
Fans began speculating on who the pacer would marry soon after the news became public. Bumrah was rumored to be marrying South Indian actress Anupama Parameswaran, according to sources. All of the rumors were put to rest after Anupama’s mother refuted all of the charges.
Finally, on March 15, 2021, Bumrah and Sanjana married in a private ceremony in Goa, attended by close friends and family members. The news was shared on social media by Jasprit Bumrah with the caption,
“Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana.”
Sanjana Ganesan is a 28-year-old sports presenter and TV host. She made her television debut on MTV Splitsvilla 7, a reality show. Sanjana has also worked as a presenter for the Premier Badminton League (PBL). Sanjana had a brief modeling career before beginning her career as a sports presenter. In 2012, she competed in “Femina Style Diva,” and in 2013, she competed in “Femina Miss India Pune.” Sanjana Ganesan is best known as the host of the Kolkata Knight Riders’ IPL show “Knight Club.” Ganesan was declared the winner of the Femina Officially Gorgeous Competition.
