More than anyone else, Desis relish being represented. We jump with joy whenever our subcontinent is mentioned in pop culture anywhere in the world.
We bring this up now because Shah Rukh’s filmography was incorporated into the MCU in the second episode of Ms. Marvel, an American television miniseries that is presently available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
Kamala Khan, a Pakistani refugee in the United States who learns her superpowers, is a character in the MCU series. We encounter genuine South Asian references throughout the programme. And in a conversation between Kamala and her crush Kamran while they talk about Bollywood movies, SRK enters the Marvel Universe.

And talks on DDLJ & Baazigar | @iamSRK @msmarvel

He replies, “Obviously, but only the greats like Baazigar and things,” when she asks him if he watches any. They discuss why the general public believes it to be DDLJ after she responds that it is SRK’s best effort. There is, however, no such thing as a lousy Shah Rukh Khan film, continues Kamala.
In all honesty, DDLJ is overrated, and Baazigar, in which he portrays a homicidal killer, has actually better shown off his acting skills than any other love movie has ever managed. The SRK fan in me is ecstatic that it was revealed on a programme that would be seen by viewers all around the world.
It is clear that the Desi Twitter is out of control and that they are already madly in love with the programme.
Okay King Khan @iamsrk where you at my man!!

The similarities between how Eid and Christmas are celebrated in the MCU, the mention of the Partition, a talk of SRK’s films, and even a nod to Ritviz make the story interesting to watch.
Talking about SRK movies to start a discussion with a crush is one of the many things that Ms. Marvel got right.
