With an interview with The Print, Samuel says he loves his parents, however, they brought him into this world for their own reasons.

Speaking with The Print, he said, “I wish to inform all Indian children that they don’t owe their parents something. I really like my parents, and that we have a good relationship, however, that they had me for their joy and their pleasure. My life has been superb, however, I don’t see why I ought to place another life through the rigamarole of college and finding a career, particularly after they didn’t rise to exist.”

Samuel’s opinions – termed as antinatalism – have led him and others to create a Facebook page called Nihilanand.

“Other Indian must know that it is an option not to have children, and to ask your parents for an explanation as to why they gave birth to you,” said Samuel.
