10 Upcoming Bollywood Movies That Are Remake Of South Movies

It’s not uncommon for Bollywood to use plots plagiarised from South Indian movies. This demonstrates that, no matter how much fun we have with South Indian films, they are excellent enough for Bollywood to replicate them and cast some B-town stars in them, resulting in a smash blockbuster.

We usually know the entire storey, but we still watch it to see how terribly Bollywood ruined it or how wonderful the photography is.

The following are some of the upcoming Bollywood films that are said to be based on south Indian films:

1. Vikram Vedha

When it comes to big-screen movies, Hrithik and Saif are an unusual pairing. However, according to reports, this film will star this duo as well as a slew of other well-known actors. R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi played the lead parts in the original version of the film. The plot follows the pattern of a typical South Indian film in which a cop travels around separating the good from the bad cops.

2. Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru

The title of the film has been altered to Sanki, and it is expected to star Varun Dhawan and Parineeti Chopra, two well-known and well-liked actors. The plot centres on a cop who is investigating the death of a couple who died in unusual circumstances.

3. HIT

The film was a huge blockbuster when it was released in 2020. The plot is similar, focusing on an investigation, a cop, and their bravery. Everything is very much the same.

Rajkummar Rao will play the lead in a remake of the film.

4. Kaithi

After a long absence, Ajay Devgn will return to the big screen. The fact that Ajay is a wonderful blend of action and comedy heroes makes this even better because he can emphasise both while also making it pleasant for those who can’t stand too much action.

The plot revolves around an inspector and his failed attempts to do so due to a narcotics raid planned by the inspector posing a significant impediment.

5. Jersey

The film was first released in Telugu, and Bollywood will adapt it under the same title with little to no creativity. Shahid Kapoor will play a cricketer in the starring part, and the rest of the film will most likely not be butchered in the worst conceivable way.

6. Ratsasan

Akshay Kumar and Rakulpreet are a popular couple these days, and they can be seen together in both huge films and short YouTube videos. Ratsasan will be remade using the foundation that the two have established. Obviously, there is a cop in the scenario who is tracking psychopaths in the region.

7. Soorarai Potru

This unique storey was also included in the Oscar nominations for 2020. After it was agreed to cast performers like John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan in the key roles, Akshay Kumar was chosen. The storey follows a man from a rural location who dreams to start his own airline and must overcome the obstacles that stand in his way.

8. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo

Despite certain nonsensical moments, bland plots, and a lack of emotional depth here and there, Trivikram Srinivas has assured that one does not take their gaze away from the screen. The screenplay, however, is the guru’s best to date. He’s on point here, with a screenplay that’s raunchy in parts and measured in others. For scenes to remain ingrained in our mind, something is formed out of thin air. The punctuated method in which the songs are put deserves special note; they are simply merged into the storey narration and screenplay. Indeed, the melodies may easily be confused with scenes.

Trivikram gets full marks for being a magician. The small details, such as the Casio watch that Allu Arjun wears towards the beginning of the novel, are meticulously researched. Arjun doesn’t wear much makeup in the first half of the film, which adds to the character’s authenticity.

Kartik Aaryan will play the lead in the remake.

9. Anniyan

Director Shankar uses the protagonist to deliver a multitude of themes and say things that need to be said in Anniyan, a hard-hitting, exciting, and equally thought-provoking action thriller. Even if you watch it in dubbed form, you’ll be blown away by the film’s compelling storytelling, spectacular action sequences, cutting-edge visual effects, and, of course, Vikram’s ground-breaking performance.

The protagonist character of Ramanujam will be played by actor Ranveer Singh in the remake.

10. Master

Lokesh Kanakaraj’s film had a wide range of directing styles. The film is a commercially successful action-adventure. In comparison to his previous works, this was a unique film for Vijay. Vijay Sethupathi as the villain Bhavani steals the show in his role as an alcoholic professor, while Vijay Sethupathi as JD rocks in his role as an alcoholic professor. Even though they didn’t have much screen time, Malavika and Andrea did an excellent job in their roles.

Salman Khan is expected to play the protagonist in a remake of the Tamil thriller film from 2021.
