Amul Responds After Customer Finds Worms Inside Its High Protein Buttermilk Ordered Online

These days, there have been other instances wherein contaminated products that were sent online have been discovered. In one instance, an Amul dairy product was discovered to contain worms.

The client provided a video showing the worm-infested dairy product they received. He vented his disappointment and related his experience on the social networking site X.

A client going under the handle “@imYadav31,” Gajender Yadav, posted several images and videos of Amul’s high-protein buttermilk carton filled with white worms.

He mentioned that after placing an internet order, it took 10 to 12 days for Amul’s high-protein buttermilk to arrive. According to him, there were a couple of buttermilk boxes that were open and smelt bad. Approaching X, the user penned,

In an update, Mr Yadav stated that Amul Kanpur committed to fix the problem by offering a replacement and a refund. The consumer was asked to dispose of the infected boxes after declining the offer.
