Uorfi shared a tale on her Instagram account that included Sana Khan’s remark regarding husbands permitting their wives to wear shorts. Uorfi sent a lengthy letter criticising Sana and pointing out that a person’s attire does not elevate them. She went on to say that although other ladies are free to come and humiliate Sana for her new decisions, they are not doing so. She should therefore refrain from judging others if she prefers her options and does not wish to be judged. One way to interpret Uorfi’s note is:
“Bringing other women down, considering yourself superior because of your new ‘clothing choices’. Your choices don’t make you superior from the ones who make different choices. Other women can shame you too for your choices but we ain’t doing that. Lady if you can wear whatever you want and don’t want to be judged, other women can demand that too.”
According to Sana Khan, all men want their wives to wear modest clothing.

“That was the time I was doing something worse in my life, social media-wise. I used to think what people are seeing on my social media, I am not that person in real life. I used to wear certain kinds of clothes and dance. I thought I was misguiding youth.”
