After her ex-husband Yuzvendra Chahal’s much-anticipated podcast appearance, where he opened up about their divorce for the first time, Dhanashree Verma has now shared her thoughts, though in a more indirect way.

The choreographer and digital artist posted a peaceful series of pictures from her recent trip to Dubai on Instagram. The images, which include enjoying street food like vada pav and pani puri, relaxing walks during golden hour, and visits to temples, radiated calmness and nostalgia. In her caption, Dhanashree wrote, “Back in Dubai after what feels like a lifetime…🤍 Growing up here gave me so many core memories, and seeing how much the city has evolved was both surreal and heartwarming. Seeing this beautiful Hindu temple was one of the highlights; it felt serene, strong, and a reminder of how far this city has come in embracing culture and community. ♥️🙏🏻 Thankful for the development, the roots, and the reconnecting.”

Her post came just a few days after Chahal talked about the viral “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy” t-shirt he wore during his final divorce court hearing with Dhanashree, while on Raj Shamani’s podcast. Chahal explained that the shirt was meant to send a simple message and not create drama, but he also hinted that he felt the need to react to certain things that had happened from Dhanashree’s side. “Kyunki saamne se kuch cheej hua tha, aur mera pehle mann nahi tha,” he said, suggesting his actions were more about closure than confrontation.

While Dhanashree hasn’t directly responded to Chahal’s comments, her Instagram post, which focuses on personal growth and reconnecting with her roots, has been seen by fans as a graceful and positive way of moving on. The photos show her smiling, enjoying sunsets, and embracing the city where she grew up, sending a subtle yet powerful message about her own journey forward.
