Imagine texting the delivery boy to get an update while you’re excited and hungry and waiting impatiently for your supper. But instead of responding civilly, he begins to mistreat you. Isn’t that shocking? That’s precisely what happened recently when a man posted on Reddit about his unsettling conversation with a Zomato delivery boy. People were shocked by the screenshots, which provoked intense internet reactions.

The internet is shocked by a Zomato delivery boy’s unpleasant conversation with a customer.

Recently, a shocking instance surfaced in which a Zomato customer was subjected to hateful texts from the delivery worker instead of receiving his food. Like any other hungry customer, the man was excitedly awaiting his lunch, which he had ordered via the app. He kindly sent a sticker and a message asking the delivery boy for an update after waiting for over half an hour. To his surprise, the delivery boy started speaking to him in a very nasty way and using profanity instead of the usual reaction.

The client initially enquired in the shared conversation,

“Bhai kahan reh gaye?”

The delivery boy casually replied,

“Kya ho gaya?”

The customer again requested,

“Order de do bhai please, bhookh lag rahi hai”

To this, the delivery boy snapped back saying he had three other orders and it would take him 1–1.5 hours. Things then got worse when the delivery boy, named Pankaj, rudely wrote:,

“Bhai main nahi aa raha, mera mann nahi kar raha, order cancel kar de, bhooka reh tu, bhooka mar.”

Shocked by this reply, the customer asked him to cancel the order. But instead of handling it professionally, the delivery boy continued abusing and said,

“Bhooka mar ja bhooka, galat bande ke chakkar mein phans gaya, main to sharab pee raha hoon.”

If this wasn’t enough, the delivery boy went further and mocked the customer by saying,

“Tere ko bawasir hai kya, jo itna meetha kha raha hai, mujhe to lag raha hai tujhe hai.”

The consumer was completely taken aback by these offensive comments. He chose to post screenshots of the conversation on Reddit because he was upset about the entire situation. He uploaded it on the r/Zomato page with the title “Bhooka to main tha waise.” Users were shocked by the awful behaviour, and the post rapidly gained over 2000 upvotes and over 154 comments.

In a single sentence, the man expressed his frustration: “Maine khana order kiya tha, trauma nahi.”

This is how internet users responded to the trending discussion.
The episode became one of the most talked-about customer service experiences on Reddit, with many users expressing their indignation and calling for stern action against the delivery boy, while others made sarcastic jokes about it.
