An elderly man used one of those cellphones that almost no one uses anymore to capture every moment of the World Cup Fan Fest in Mexico City, his arm outstretched and his eyes bright. 📱 After someone recorded him and posted it to social media, the video quickly went viral online.
The response from AT&T Mexico was unexpected. After watching the video, the company became as upset as everyone else and shared a statement that went viral as the grandfather’s: they are trying to find him so they can give him a new phone. They wrote, “Moments like these deserve to keep being captured.” “🙌💙”
Thousands more people have now joined the quest. The picture of that man passionately enjoying the match has already captured the hearts of everyone on the internet, even though no one knows his identity or where he resides. “🇲🌽”
