In an open interview, Kritika Malik talked about her union with Armaan Malik, her opposition to polygamy, and her reaction to Payal Malik’s declaration of divorce.
Kritika Malik on Bigg Boss OTT 3 Finale
Bigg Boss OTT 3’s grand finale was on August 2, 2024, and Sana Makbul emerged victorious, followed by Naezy as the first runner-up. The other finalists were Sai Ketan Rao, Ranvir Shorey, and Kritika Malik. Along with her spouse Armaan Malik and his previous wife Payal Malik, Kritika took part in the event. Still, she came under fire for supposedly upsetting the marriage of her best friend.
“You had the right to nominate me in the Bigg Boss house. You can nominate the non-deserving contestant. This happens twice a week. If I wasn’t deserving, you should have nominated me. You did not nominate me and I reached the finale. This was my strategy and you were caught in it.”
Kritika spoke with News18 Showsha about the backlash and her experience on the show following the finale. She clarified her approach when asked about being called an undeserving finalist:
Position Opposed to Polygamy
It was said that Kritika, Armaan, and Payal encouraged polygamy during their stay on Bigg Boss. During the interview, Kritika said she regretted marrying Armaan and advised people against being married more than once. She said:
Several questions were raised. You guys are also right. This is not something one expects. I am ready for the questions. But I have always said that I do not support polygamy. We made a mistake by marrying twice, so please don’t do this. Nobody should marry twice. We do not support polygamy.”
Reacting to the Announcement of Payal Malik’s Divorce
In addition, Kritika shared her feelings on Payal Malik’s announcement of her divorce from Armaan. She sobbed because she felt powerless and couldn’t get in touch with her relatives.
She revealed:
“In this house, you cannot contact anyone from your family. In this situation, somebody tells you something shocking. Like, you guys mentioned about Payal’s decision to divorce Armaan. It hurt me. I broke down emotionally. I was worried if everything was okay outside or not. I was broken because of this.”

Kritika also talked about the first thing she said to Payal after she left the Bigg Boss house. She asked Payal whether she was okay, and was pleased to learn that she was. She said as she went on:
“When I came outside, I asked Payal if she was okay. She said, ‘yes’. Nothing else matters. If she is fine, I am also fine.”
