‘Allah Ki Marzi Nahi Thi’: Roadies Revolution’s Saqib Khan Quits Showbiz For His Religion

Saqib Khan, a former contestant on the reality show Roadies Revolution, has announced his retirement from the entertainment industry.

The Kashmir-born aspiring actor made it clear to his 28.7k Instagram followers that he had been missing harmony and spirituality in his life for quite some time, which is why surrendering to his faith for his own good is important.

“Today’s post is regarding announcement as I am quitting the SHOWBIZ. So I won’t be doing any modelling and Acting in the future. Aisa nahi hai ki kaam nahi tha mere paas or i gave up !! I had good projects in line. Bus Allah ki marzi nahi thi. Zarur kuch achaa aur behtar Allah ne soncha hoga mere liye. Insha Allah,” he said.

On the same note, Saqib said that although he was struggling for work in Mumbai, he is content with all of the fame that has come his way. None of this, however, will help him have a happier ‘afterlife.’

“In a nutshell, I was going astray ( Gumrah) and going against my Islamic tenants. I used to give Namaz, but something was missing: Sukoon and my responsibility to Allah. So now I fully surrender to Allah SWT. “Wo Sukoon jiski mujhe talaash thi wo toh mere samnay tha, meri kitaab mai (our holy Book, the Quran),” wrote Saqib Khan.

Here’s hoping you find the peace you’re looking for, Saqib.
