On Monday, Indian cricketer Axar Patel and his wife travelled to Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain area to visit and pray at the revered Baba Mahakaleshwar Temple.
At the time, Patel and his wife also took part in the “Bhasma Aarti”. A well-known ceremony in this place is the bhasma aarti (ashes offering). Between 4:00 and 5:30 in the morning, Brahma Muhurta is conducted.
The pair sat in the Nandihal to see the Bhasma Aarti. They then proceeded to the temple’s sanctum sanctorum to perform Jalabhishek.
Stayed at the temple for more than 2 hours
After completing the pooja, he spoke with the media representatives. Patel claimed that while he had been there five years prior, he was unable to watch the Bhasma Aarti. His wish to witness Baba Mahakal’s Bhasma Aarti was realised today. He was overjoyed to take part in the Bhasma Aarti.
Patel stayed on Baba Mahakal’s property for more than two hours. As he sat in Nandihal, he prayed to Shiva as well.
K L Rahul and Athiya Shetty Also visited the temple
Notably, on Sunday, newlyweds K L Rahul of the Indian cricket team and Athiya Shetty of Bollywood visited the Mahakal shrine and beseeched Baba Mahakal for blessings (February 26).
At the sanctum sanctorum, they presented Jal to Baba Mahakal as part of the Bhasma Aarti.
Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty visited Baba Mahakal for the first time after getting married, according to temple priest Ashish Pujari. They wished for peace around the world as well as for India’s cricket team to overtake all others as the top team in the sport.
