Here we will understand that product placement or embedded marketing is a modern advertising trend by which a company pays an entertainment product to the producer or maker to promote their goods or services as part of a show or film.

1. Domino’s Pizza- Phir Hera Pheri
Remember the Famous comedy scene from Phir Hera Pheri where Paresh Rawal emphasised on the fact that Pizza would be free if it did not get delivered within thirty minutes by the delivery person? The idea behind this was to promote the smooth and fast service of Dominos.
2. Nike- Yuvvraaj
You must have enjoyed Subhash Ghai’s film and Salman Khan’s acting in this film. Yet Anil Kapoor was seen in several of the scenes as weirdly revealing his Adidas shoes. This was part of embedded marketing where they marketed Nike products.
3. Mountain Dew- Zindagi Na Milegi Dobar
From the start, we all know that Hrithik Roshan is a Mountain Dew brand ambassador. Hrithik had been seen supporting Mountain Dew in a special way in This Bollywood blockbuster. Before heading for skydiving, you have to recall the iconic scene where Hrithik was seen doing cheers with Mountain Dew bottles.
In this scene which is “Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai” he even used their famous tagline.
4. Bournvita- Krrish and Koi… Mil Gaya
In many scenes of Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish, Bournvita was advertised and even Hrithik insisted on the fact that after drinking Bournvita, he became powerful.
5. Coke- Taal
In this film, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Akshaye Khanna had a romantic scene where they both had been seen drinking coke and chatting. Anil Kapoor was also spotted later saying he drinks Coke and gets fast.
6. Pass-Pass- Yaadein
In this film, Hrithik was seeing the promotion of Paas Pass. In this film there is a scene where a girl approached Hrithik, asking for a Paas Pass.
7. Black Dog- Shahenshah
Through this film the veteran actor, Amrish Puri has promoted Black Dog whiskey. We quoted him as saying,
“Jis din main koi Gori titli Dekh Leta Hoon Na Mathur, mere Khoon Mein Sakdon Kaale Kutte Ek Saath Bhaunkne Lagte Hain. Us din main Black Dog Peeta hoon.”
8. McDonald’s- Chak De! India
Note the iconic scene in Chak De! India where Shah Rukh Khan has taken the girls in for a McDonald’s treat? He was selling McDonald’s burgers here indirectly.
9. Tide- Chup Chup Ke
The drug Tide was used in many of the scenes in Chup Chup Ke and this film records a huge rise in the sales of Tide goods.
10. Nokia Lumia- Chennai Express
The scene where Shah Rukh Khan was seen to say the phone’s features and the price and to comment on how good the phone was was, this was part of the smart advertising and it was done well too.
