Celebrities are not like normal men and women at all, whatever we might think. On Monday, we should pledge to start working out, putting it off more and more, while Hollywood stars spend most of their lives trying to satisfy our standards.

I made a list of the most unusual tactics used by actors and actresses to lose weight quickly, whether for the sake of art or just to get in shape. It’s worth mentioning that celebrities have no extremes, so please don’t try these tactics at home.

Natalie Portman

Natalie had to be about 80 pounds to play a ballet dancer without weight problems. Her diet, half a grapefruit, a carrot, and some almonds, did not vary much from her character’s. Even, it’s worth an Academy Award, right?

For the sake of losing an additional 15 pounds for her part in Dreamgirls, Beyoncé resisted consuming hard food. She drank only water with lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup for two weeks, occasionally adding fresh vegetables on top. The outcome was shocking, but the singer acknowledged that she would not dare to pursue this experiment again.

Matthew McConaughey

The award for best actor did not exactly prance into the embracing hands of Matthew. He went on an extremely low-calorie diet for 4 months, losing over 40 pounds as a consequence. There was a lot of liquids and proteins at the base of the diet, but the actor says it was the psychological strain that was the hardest.

Reese Witherspoon

To get in shape after childbirth, Reese turned to a common diet focused on baby food. The key is simple: it’s easy to digest pureed food, while the portion size won’t encourage you to overeat.

Every day, she let herself eat no more than two servings of dry oatmeal, a few radishes, and some hummus. The actress also laughs as she recalls that she just had to eat “kale and dust” for the Catwoman suit to sit right on her.

The food must be of the same hue, too-if she eats white on Monday, it would be spinach, white beans, and cottage cheese. When looking at her beautiful body, it’s difficult to question the efficacy of such a diet.

For The Machinist, in 4 months, Christian had to lose 60 pounds. His diet consisted every day of a can of tuna and an apple and did not exceed 300 kcal. To not feel hungry, the actor drank plenty of water, helping him achieve the result in the end. By the way, he lost not only the fat but muscles too-that’s why he looks so morbidly thin in the movie.

What do you want to look like at 58? We’re guessing, like Madonna. The singer is in fantastic condition. That’s because while others cut out calories, she completely excludes them. The diet of Madonna is based on the premise that air suffices to sustain the function of our body. She’s cooking rice, but she’s not enjoying it: she’s only smelling it and consuming just salted water soup. Madonna definitely doesn’t live like this all the time, but as needed, she uses this form.

It is unhealthy and imbalanced for such nutrition, but the actress lost even more than she anticipated. Verdict: it works, but on this diet you will not last long.
