Prabhas, a popular actor in India, is prepared to enthral viewers with his upcoming film, Adipurush, which follows the failure of Radhe Shyam. The epic film, which is based on the Ramayana and is directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior fame, stars the Baahubali actor as Lord Ram.

Along with Prabhas, key roles in the highly anticipated movie are played by Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh as Sita, Raavan, and Laxman, respectively.

The makers of Adipurush recently presented Prabhas’ first look poster for Lord Ram, and now they have unveiled the teaser during a significant occasion in Ayodhya.

The team also shared it on the official Twitter handle of T-Series and wrote, “आ रहा हूँ,

अधर्म का विध्वंस करने 🏹 Step into the word of Adipurush #AdipurushInAyodhya #AdipurushTeaser out now”

Adipurush, as seen in the trailer, celebrates the triumph of good over evil and showcases Prabhas, Saif, and the rest of the cast’s intriguing features. Overall, the teaser is promising, and Saif as Raavan has a scary presence. He undoubtedly outshines Prabhas, who portrays Lord Ram with superb looks. There are a few glimpses of Kriti as Sita in it, and she looks just stunning.

While the preview had many enthusiastic, many netizens were let down by the visual effects and referred to the movie as “animated” or “cartoon.” We can only hope that the trailer will be improved from here.

Reacting to it, a social media user tweeted, “JAI SHREE RAM Was not expecting animated teaser or isme Khilji kaha se agaya? #Adipurush”

Another Twitter user wrote, “When #Adipurush was announced, I thought it wd give #Brahmastra a tough competition in terms of VFX… But now I can’t even compare Brahmastra with Adipurush. The Brahmastra Vfx… miles ahead.”

A third post read, “I think we should learn how to waste 500cr money from #Adipurush team.”

Here are the reactions:

Adipurush was scheduled to be released in August of this year for the uninitiated. They changed their release date to the next year at the request of the directors of Laal Singh Chadha and Aamir Khan, though.

Adipurush will now be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada on January 12, 2023.
