1. AK Hangal
Late Bollywood actor AK Hangal, known for his “Namak Haram” role, “Sholay” went bankrupt at the age of 95. It was difficult for the actor to fulfil his medical expenses, but celebrities like Jaya Bachchan and Salman Khan came to the rescue and helped him pay his dues.
2. Amitabh Bachchan
Once his business ‘ ABCL’ was declared bankrupt, Big B faced financial problems. There was reportedly a debt in excess of Rs 90 crore. The actor had even mortgaged his home, but he saved the situation with the offer to host ‘ Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).
3. Govinda
Since his career in Bollywood, followed by politics, a point came when he went bankrupt in the life of Bollywood actor Govinda. Govinda managed to clear all his debts from the start of his film career with’ Partner’ again.
4. Jackie Shroff
Once Jackie Shroff loaned money from filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala, but that time he suffered from bankruptcy was unable to pay him back in 2008. Sajid wanted to solve the problem through legal action, but apparently, it was Salman Khan who intervened in the matter and helped Jackie pay back his debts.
5. Preity Zinta
Upon making the maiden movie ‘ Ishkq In Paris’ from the home, it began to talk that Preity Zinta was suffering from the financial crisis. According to sources, Abbas Tyrewala, the dialogue writer for’ Ishkq In Paris,’ had filed a case against the actress over non-payment of duties. Even bounced was a check worth Rs. 18.9 lakh. Preity had even admitted to offering assistance to Salman Khan. She’s doing really well now, though, and she owns an IPL team. We know him as the Indian film industry’s showman. But he also saw fatiguing moments. The iconic film’ Mera Naam Joker’ by Raj Kapoor tanked at the box office, leaving him nearly bankrupt.
7. Abhay Deol
Actor Abhay Deol went bankrupt and had to sell his house to repay his “One by Two” loan from his home production.
8. Shilpa Shetty
Shilpa Shetty revealed she was running short of money to the press. This would prohibit her from making a video for her IPL squad, Rajasthan Royals because she was “extremely poor.” She also said they were trying to save money.
