5. Black tea
Black tea is one of the beverages that are most drunk, but be careful not to combine it with milk. Dairy products do not affect the antioxidants it contains, but they block tea’s cardiovascular benefits as milk proteins make it harder to absorb tea nutrients.
6. Strawberries
Strawberries, like most red fruits, are high in protein, antioxidants and vitamin C. Such fruits should never be cut because the body needs such nutrients. We are sensitive to light and oxygen when strawberries are cut and lose their nutrients very quickly.
7. Broccoli
Broccoli is one of those raw or at most steamed foods that should always be consumed. They actually lose vitamin C, chlorophyll, antioxidants, and anti-cancer compounds that are all vital to the body by boiling or frying them.
8. Beans
Dried beans contain antioxidant compounds called phytates, but they bind to the food containing vitamins and minerals that the body can not absorb. It would be good to allow them to soak up overnight in order to be free of superfluous substances.
