Major General GD Bakshi, a former military officer, has again stirred controversy as he uses profane language on Saturday’s live show.
Bakshi was one of the panellists on Republic TV’s televised debate. Well, we are well aware that TV channel debates don’t end well and Republic TV was the channel that hosted the debate. So … It’s sort of self-explanatory.
In the video, we can see that the panellist was debating the clash over the Galway valley and injured the visit of Modi to the army jawan. We can also see that Bakshi was bashing another panellist while he was trying to make a point and Bakshi ended up cursing the latter as a consequence.
Although the show’s two hosts tried to stop the two, it didn’t help and the pair went on to argue on air.

Calls a panelist madar**** on national television. What kind of nationalism is this?
Major General Gagan Deep Bakshi is widely known as G for the Uninitiated. D. Bakshi is a former Indian army officer, born in 1950. He is from the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles and has been awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal for commanding a Kargil War battalion and the Sena Medal for his distinguished service in commanding a battalion during counter-insurgency drives.
Although we have often seen the former Army officer invited to Republic TV debates, he has also appeared on-air on other TV channels.

It is not the first time GD Bakshi has lost his temper, which is sometimes seen in the panel as bashing the opposition. Later in an ABP news discussion, he was heard screaming during the Pulwama attack discussion and he yelled, “How many casualties are we going to suffer? We have tolerated this in silence for 30 years, for 30 years!
