Among them, 36-year-old Abhey Singh—also known as IIT Baba—has drawn a lot of attention. Singh, an aerospace engineering graduate from IIT Bombay, gave up his lucrative employment to follow his spirituality and join the Juna Akhada.

Devotees have been captivated by IIT Baba’s unique method, which is best known for using diagrams and pictures to convey complex spiritual subjects. But in his most recent video, he provoked discussions by calling the notion that parents are gods a “Kalyug trap” and denouncing it as such.

IIT Baba discussed the idea of considering “parents as god” in a recently shared video. According to him, children of Kalyugi parents who have experienced generational trauma have inherited it. For this reason, they forbid their kids from doing things in a different way. There is a caption for the video.

In the meantime, his father, Haryana lawyer Karan Grewal, expressed his concerns and urged him to go back. He revealed that Singh stopped communicating six months ago, even though his family had asked him to come back. Grewal wants to get back in touch while respecting his son’s choices. Addressing the press, he stated,

Singh claims that as a child, he would study through the night to get away from the chaos at home. When questioned why he never got married, he said that he chose to live alone after seeing his parents fight.
