Indian Army Usage Israel tactic To Deal With A Stone-Pelter In Kashmir

Former Chief Minister of Kashmir Omar Abdullah on Twitter earlier today (14 April) shared pictures and videos, ostensibly explaining a stone-peter tied in front of a jeep belonging to Indian armed forces.

The protection of the Indian army and paramilitary forces have found it difficult to shuttle without being hit by stones ever since the Pakistan-sponsored and separatist staged ‘protests’ broke out in the valley in 2016. Stone-pelting masses, that gather on the directions of separatist leaders, hit the vehicles with stones and petrol bombs.

This time,The army have exercised a tactic that the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have been using for decades. The IDF has tied stone-pelters to their vehicles, to dissuade mobs from throwing stones. However, The Emerging India was unable to independently verify the legitimacy of these pictures.

This video comes just a days after a video emphasizing a CRPF personnel showing immense silence even when he is assaulted by a stone-pelting masses at a polling booth in Srinagar went viral. The video shows the Jawan walking when suddenly a civilian attacks the soldier. The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday registered a FIR against the youth seen in the video. Also, Read How the Mother of All Bombs (MOAB) kills people: Read Full Story
