Indian Railways has consistently worked to improve passenger convenience. Indian Railways continues to advance throughout time by introducing new trains and providing new amenities. However, Indian Railways’ problems never seem to go away, even with such attempts. Because it carries a lot of people and other goods with ease and at a low cost, it is referred to as our nation’s lifeblood. However, in densely populated nations like India, this same speciality can occasionally become problematic.
It has become commonplace to observe packed Indian Railways trains these days. However, there are instances when the train is so packed that it feels oppressive. Consider what would happen to those who get on such trains. A girl was seen suffocating while sitting in a packed train in a recent social media video that went viral. What astounds everyone, though, is that rather than offering assistance, other commuters poked fun of her and recorded her as she choked. Indian Railways has now responded to the widely shared video as well:

Going viral is a video of other travellers making fun of a female who feels smothered in a packed train:
On social media, a disturbing video of a young girl gasping for breath in a packed train cabin went viral lately. Everyone finds it annoying that instead of helping her, people laugh and document her suffering. Woke Eminent, a user on X, shared the video. He chastised passengers for filming the child when she was having trouble breathing in the video’s caption. He wrote in the video’s caption,
A girl was almost suffocated, stampeded into a train coach, and she was running out of breath. The crowd on the platform was laughing and mocking her. What do you call such behaviour?
In his tweet, he also urged Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Railway Minister, the Railway Ministry, and the Railway Seva to improve crowd management during the festival season. The user suggested measures including restricting access at crowded stations and deploying security guards, like as the CRPF, on days when transit is at its peak in order to prevent crowding and ensure passenger safety. He went on,
Dear @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji @RailMinIndia @RailwaySeva. Every festival the surge at railway stations and people entering trains without tickets surges, the mob rules the trains. Why cant we have access control to railway stations at least during festival season and especially known stations which have massive crowds trying to get into trains. Deploy CRPF etc at such stations during festival peak at selected stations and have access control for them during the peak. I Dont think its an impossible task…

She’s clearly having some sort of anxiety attack due to the crowd & heat. WTF is so funny to the people watching her? Disgusting behavior.
