Jasmin Bhasin, a television actor, suffered eye injuries and is currently blind. The actor’s contact lenses on an occasion in Delhi caused damage to her corneas. Her doctor has bandaged both of her eyes and urged her to rest.
Jasmin told ETimes that her eyes began to hurt as soon as she put on the eye lenses before heading to an event in New Delhi. But when she decided to go to the event first, the “pain got worse.” As the severity increased, the actor recalled, “After a point, I couldn’t see anything.”
When the ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ star saw an eye doctor later that evening, he told her that her “corneas were damaged.” Jasmin had to travel quickly to Mumbai for eye care.
“I’m in a lot of pain right now. I should heal in the following four to five days, according to the doctors, but until then, I need to take good care of my eyes. Speaking on her current eye condition, Jasmin said, “It’s not easy because I can’t see and I am struggling to even sleep due to the pain.”
The upcoming Punjabi film Ardaas Sarbat De Bhalle Di stars Jasmin Bhasin, who gained recognition for her work in television series including Tashan-e-Ishq and Dil Se Dil Tak. September of this year is when the movie, which also stars actor Grippy Grewal, is supposed to be released.
