When it’s between complete strangers with just a few hundred followers, Twitter feuds can be hilarious. It can be wickedly amusing for the rest of us when celebrities attack — with their millions of followers.
Kunal Kamra, a stand-up comedian, poked fun at Chetan Bhagat, a columnist and author, last year. It all started when Chetan Bhagat asked, “On a scale of 1-10, how bored are you right now?” on his Twitter account.
To which, a user had replied, “11 but still won’t read your book.”
Taking a shot at the author, comedian Kunal Kamra, who is known for using political humour to criticise the Modi government, tweeted a screenshot of the conversation with the caption, “Chetan Bhagat, even I don’t get insulted to frequently and badly.”
“You have to be someone to get insulted bro,” wrote the best-selling author, as a perfect response.
“‘Being Someone’ is the right category your career falls into, No one knows why but for some godforsaken reason you’re still important…,” Kunal Kamra attempted a comeback, but it was the normal norm we’ve come to expect from his jokes, “‘Being Someone’ is the right category your career falls into, No one knows why but for some godforsaken reason you’re still relevant… This is not meant to be taken as a compliment”
