If you are overweight and want to lose those excess pounds, you must read Joanna Joseph’s inspirational and motivational fat-loss tale.

And instead of signing up for a gym, she started running and started going for two-hour runs every night in the fields near her house.

She started to lose weight and eventually reached a trim 8st 3lbs.

But even then, jokes continued to be made, according to Joanna. “Even when I lost so much weight, everyone used to tease me saying I took drugs and I was a “Dr*g addict,” and more, so I decided to just let it go,” she said.

Joanna was a child who was overweight and was always harassed and shamed by the body. She chose one day to have it enough and changed her life that day.

Even my own friends used to bully me daily because I was overweight and likely appeared ugly in their views. My life was unhappy because of my own family.

I endured torture from the time I was 12 till the time I was 16 when I finally made the decision to take matters into my own hands because I knew that if I didn’t act, I would remain the same forever.

“To get to where I am now, I had to push myself and make many sacrifices in life.

“When I noticed the changes, I started to like what I saw.”

Without going to the gym, maintaining a healthy diet, or using any medicine, it was just hard work. And now here I am.

She decided to live a healthy lifestyle and her routine included exercise.

Have you ever looked back at pictures of yourself when you were younger, where the only thing that would hurt you is when you fought with your best friend and you tell each other “I don’t want to friend you” or when you lost your favourite stack of erasers. And now as we all grow up, life seems to change everyday with more bigger challenges, where we learn the real meaning of pain and loss, where sometimes it feels as if life is just too much and you just want to take some time off, or fly to a new country and start over because life needs a change. No matter how tough life gets, remember that in the end of the day, you are in control of your life. You do you. And no one, I repeat no one should ever have the audacity to tell you what to do, or tell you how to love, and tell you how to live your life. Your choices are important. They either make you, or break you. If you feel that you need to take a break, go ahead and take the break. Breathe. And tell yourself that things are going to be okay. Not today, not tomorrow, but someday. It might be a tough ride through, and you are going to be facing many many obstacles along the way. But as long as you put yourself first over everything else, you got this. Love yourself people! ❤️ #motivation #fitfam #fitspo #inspire #youcandoit #justbringit #dreambig #staypostitive #noexcuses #loveyourself #dedication #pushpull #focus #grind #strongwomen #girlpower #womanempowerment #newyear #confidence #fuckdepression

Joanna follows a strict diet plan consisting of a cup of orange juice, some fruits and two slices of whole-meal buttered bread for breakfast, brown rice with healthy side dishes such as steamed chicken, fish, eggs, tofu, lunch salad and chapati with some curry and vegetables for dinner.

Unlike other fitness freaks Joanna did not give up her favourite meals, the next day she enjoys something she likes and works out more.

I love ink. I personally believe that having tattoos are a special and beautiful work of art. A person shouldn’t be defined as bad, uneducated, gangster and so much more just because of their tattoos. I have a total of 10 tattoos on my body and each and every one of them have their own specific meanings. The most favourite tattoo of them all would be the one on my arm as you can see in the picture. It’s a quote from Linkin Park’s “The messenger” and it’s also a silhouette of Chester Bennington’s face. Linkin Park has personally helped me in my journey, especially through depression for the past 10 years plus. Their music speaks to me in many ways I can relate. And Chester’s struggle with mental health is something we should all take note upon. Mental health is something that should be taken seriously and not laughed at. I carry his message and himself with me everywhere I go to remind myself to stay strong everyday. Here’s some light to everyone who is going through a tough time lately. ✨ Hang in there. There’s always a rainbow after a storm. #portraitpage #theportraitpr0ject #portraitmood #kdpeoplegallery #portraits_mf #portraitfestival #bravogreatphoto #persuitofportraits #portraitvision #featuremepf #makeportraits #gramkilla #moodyports #bravoportraits #portraitsociety #discoverportrait #makeportraitsmag #earthportraits #model #malaysia #instafashion #fashion #colour #photooftheday #chesterbennington #tattoos #linkinpark #linkinparktattoo #depression #fuckdepression

Joanna says she remembers the time when people used to laugh at her for her weight whenever she feels demotivated. She keeps her old bad feelings running.

She has come a long since her childhood and now there is no turning back.

She struggled with bullies when she was younger and endured continual bullying for her weight from classmates and family members. She then made the decision to reduce weight and set herself the goal of transforming from obese to fit. She lost a staggering 51 kg. Furthermore, Joanna, who endured body shaming throughout her youth, is now a popular model and actress.

After winning the Miss Selangor Earth competition two years ago, she went on to become a highly sought-after model and placed second in the Miss India Worldwide competition this year.

People find it difficult to believe she is the same girl from the images because of her remarkable makeover.

Joanna, who was encouraging others, said: “If I can do it, tell me why you can’t.

It all comes down to mindset.

Your objectives. Try it out. Show everyone that you are more than they are assuming you to be.
