Nushrratt Bharuccha Replies To Trolls Who Shamed Her For Promoting Condom In ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’

Nushrratt Bharuccha, who has been in films such as the Pyaar Ka Punchnama trilogy, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Dream Girl, Chhorii, Chhalaang, Ajeeb Daastaans, and others, is presently promoting her forthcoming film Janhit Mein Jaari.

Nushrratt plays a Madhya Pradesh girl who takes up the business of selling condoms in her town in Janhit Mein Jaari. The video follows her journey as she overcomes obstacles posed by social taboos while also fighting back against her family and neighbours. A condom was depicted in the rear pocket of her character’s jeans on the poster.

The social comedy’s trailer is set to premiere on May 6, but the actress just shared posters and a teaser with fans on social media.

Nushrratt Bharuccha used an unusual approach to raising awareness for her upcoming film Janhit Mein Jaari. Trolls targeted the star, who plays the main character in the social comedy, after she recently uploaded two posters from the film on Instagram.

A section of social media users shamed Nushrratt for endorsing the use of condoms

The actress used social media to retaliate against trolls, exposing netizens who had shamed her. She shared screenshots of some harsh comments made to her by trolls in an Instagram video.

Nushrratt also stated in the video that while most people share their greatest comments on social media, she chose to disclose the worst comments since trolls brought a whole new meaning to a ‘womaniya’ endorsing condoms.

She shared a some of the filthy responses she received from users. She ends the video by stating that this is precisely the mindset that Janhit Mein Jaari seeks to change in society. In the video, Nushrratt says,

“Bas yahi soch toh badalni hai. Yahi toh main keh rahi hoon. Koi baat nahi, aap ungli uthao, main aawaz uthati hoon (This is the thinking we need to change. That’s the point I’m trying to make. Never mind, you raise finger, I’ll raise my voice)”

Fans praised the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actress for sticking up for herself as soon as she posted the video. They also chastised those who made derogatory remarks about her.
