Pakistani Anchor Amir Liaquat Makes Fun Of Irrfan Khan & Sridevi’s Death: Video

A few days ago the death news from Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan shook the entire industry to the heart. As the world mourned the legendary actor’s demise, a Pakistani anchor named Amir Liaquat mocked Irrfan Khan and Sridevi’s death in his talk show as he chatted with actor Adnan Siddiqui.

Recently, Actor Adnan Siddiqui was invited to a Pakistani chat show named ‘Jeeway Pakistan’ in which the host of the show Amir Liaquat made derogatory remarks and said that Adnan Siddiqui saved the lives of Rani Mukerji and Bipasha Basu by not working with both of them. He added that ‘Mardaani 2’ and ‘Jism 2’ was offered to the ‘Maat’ star. Amir further said that Adnan has been working with Sridevi and Irrfan and both have passed away. “Bahar aap jiske saath kaam karte ho, woh chala jata hai (actors you worked with outside Pakistan have died),” the anchor commented insensitively on his show.

Adnan’s discomfort on his face was evident and he even tried to cut him short but Amir kept talking. The episode clip popped up on social media after it was posted by a Twitter user. The anchor got flak on national television for mourning someone’s death.

Later on in his post on Instagram and Twitter, Adnan Siddiqui apologised to the families of Irrfan Khan and Sridevi. He wrote: “To joke about the deceased was an incredibly callous act. It is in very poor taste, it exposes in bad light not only to him and me but also to the whole world.
