Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal’s Classic Reply To Elon Musk’s, “Don’t Think I Should Be A Boss” Remark

Since Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk hostilely acquired the popular social media platform Twitter for $44 billion in cash, it has become one of the most talked-about issues in the entire globe.

It’s not because Elon Musk or Twitter are involved. Because what followed following the acquisition is nothing less than a soap opera, it sparked a great deal of discussion.

On July 8, Elon Musk informed Twitter that he intended to renegotiate the $44 billion purchase price of the social media platform. There had been indications of confrontation between the two sides for a very long time prior to that.

In the weeks leading up to the notification, Elon Musk repeatedly claimed that Twitter had not provided him with enough information regarding the number of spam bots utilising the service. When Musk agreed to a contract with Twitter, one of his main worries was the removal of bogus accounts.

According to Business Insider, however, the company’s lawyers thought it had to do with money because Musk had suggested he may violate his contract with Twitter. Since April, Tesla stock has decreased, significantly reducing Musk’s wealth.

The future of Twitter and its CEO, Parag Agarwal, has been questionable as a result of all this controversy. Rumours about the future of Twitter’s recently appointed CEO, Parag Agrawal, are flying around the internet.

Agrawal first gave off the impression that he was upbeat about his future with the company, but recent events have us questioning whether all is as it seems between the Twitter CEO and Tesla CEO. But that does not imply that they had a rocky relationship from the beginning.

Because they reveal that they had a strong bond before the acquisition agreement was made, the recently released discussions between them have generated a lot of attention throughout the globe. Consequently, a lot of individuals are attempting to learn more about them. So, this is what we do know:

Before the acquisition agreement was completed, Elon Musk and Parag Agarwal’s relationship was evident in leaked chats.

Elon Musk and Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal had a real connection until the $44 billion acquisition offer soured relations, according to chats between the two in private.

Parag Agrawal reportedly spoke with Elon Musk on March 27 and said, “Hey Elon- nice to be linked directly. Would love to chat,” to which the latter responded by liking a message. On March 31, the two met in person at a meal that was planned.

In one of their texts from when their friendship was at its finest, Musk wrote, “I adore our discussions.” Agrawal later claimed that the meal was noteworthy for “a variety of reasons.”

Later, Musk told Agarwal,

“Frankly, I hate doing mgmt stuff. I kinda don’t think I should be the boss of anyone. But I love helping solve technical/product design problems.”

To this, Agrawal replied,

“Treat me like an engineer instead of a CEO.”

In the chat, Musk also once stated that he has several ideas and that his goal is to make Twitter an outstanding platform. He wrote,

“I would like to understand the technical details of the Twitter codebase. This will help me calibrate the dumbness of my suggestions.”

To which Parag replied,

“I used to be CTO and have been in our codebase for a long time. So I can answer many, many of your questions.”

The negotiations were made public in a Delaware court filing two weeks prior to the five-day hearing that begins on October 17 and will decide if Musk should purchase the microblogging site as he first planned to.
