Paras Chhabra, currently seen in Bigg Boss 13, is quite playing with the house’s female contestants. Although he has already made headlines for his relationship with Shehnaz Gill and friendship with Mahira Sharma, his two-and-a-half-year-old real-life girlfriend Akanksha Puri remains unaffected.
Paras had told TimesofIndia before entering the house that he would be polite with other female contestants, and even flirt with them as a strategy to win favours. He was sure that this would not affect his friendship with Akanksha, as they had already spoken about it.
What Paras is doing in the house is purely for entertainment. He had said, “I have prepared Akansha not to believe in my link-up rumours if they start floating when I enter the show. I have told her whatever I do inside the house, I will always be her man. I am a one-woman man. If I flirt on the show, it will be purely for entertainment or a camera.”
Akanksha is not influenced by the attention Paras gets from either Mahira or Shehnaz. She told TOI that by making other girls fight for him, he is doing a good job on the show. She said she enjoys watching him on the show herself.
Akanksha is pleased that Paras is at the centre of the show and providing the viewers with entertainment. The winner of Splitsvilla 5 is one of the best in the game. She also revealed that he was well prepared for difficult situations, as he had watched Bigg Boss’s entire previous season before entering the house.
When Paras said on the show that he was attempting to break up thrice with Akanksha, the latter came as a surprise. She told TOI, “Yeah, I saw the episode and I was shocked by Paras ‘ comment about our break-up. I was not prepared for this, frankly. Once Bigg Boss 13’s offer came to him, we had been debating a few things but not this. I have no idea if this is his strategy, or what. I’m not trying to be judgmental. I feel it is going to be too early to comment on that.
