Netizens, Petition, Boycott Salman Khan, YRF & Karan Johar

The nation as a whole finds it hard to believe that the talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left us all, and we will no longer be able to see him. He was just a 34-year-old young man who wanted to make his dreams come true. The actor who could have ruled Bollywood by hanging from the ceiling of his apartment in Bandra took the decision to end his life. This horrible incident took place on Sunday, and last rites of Sushant were performed in Mumbai on Monday. The actor “Kedarnath” had depression and was clearly disturbed by the domestic help from a few days.

The nepotism controversy once again started after the death of Sushant. There were some rumours that some major production houses as well as producers like Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and so on banned the “Kai Po Che” star. Several clips of old videos often go viral in which A-listers or the star kids are seen in a talk show or at other events making fun of Sushant.

Social media users are very indignant and quite upset with the industry’s bigwigs. Many people demand that Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Bhansali, YRF, etc. movies be boycotted for teaching them a lesson.

Petition to boycott Salman Khan, YRF and Karan Johar

Now a campaign has begun on change.org in which people must sign a petition to boycott KJO, SKF and YRF movies. The target of 3 lakh signatures was kept earlier, later it was raised to 5 lakhs and then 10 lakhs. But now the number of signatures has reached 10 lakh and the goal has been set at 15 lakh.

A woman known as Jay Shree Sarma Srikanth who is a professional Bollywood choreographer, artistic director and an RJ began the petition. She’s mostly from Kenya but is living in Princeton, New Jersey. The number of signatures is increasing at a very high speed because, in just 32 hours, more than 12.50 lakh people have signed the petition. The petition started at 6:47 am on 16 June, just to notify.

Jay Shree also took to Facebook and asked her friends and followers to sign the petition and get 2 million signatures in order not to repeat such incidents again.

The protest is not limited to social media only as of the Patna people from where Sushant belonged burnt Karan Johar and Salman Khan effigies. They have made a promise not to let their movies release in town.
