Speaking on the tumultuous relationship between Rishi and Neetu, Ranbir said, “Since I was a young child, I find it disturbing when someone speaks louder than me.” There were numerous arguments between my parents. I grew up hearing people fight on the staircases since we lived in a cottage. I felt anxious and afraid all the time. “I believe they were both going through a difficult time,” he continued. Since my sister wasn’t present, I felt somewhat accountable. I used to hear my mother talk to me about her feelings. My father, though, lacked much emotion. I never heard or comprehended his point of view.
