Salim Khan, the father of Salman Khan, has adamantly declared that his son does not need to apologise because he never killed the blackbuck, despite the star being threatened by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. In an exclusive interview with ABP News, Salim Khan said that the threats were merely an attempt at blackmail. Over the past year, Salman has received an increasing number of death threats; the situation has gotten worse recently, especially in the wake of Baba Siddique’s assassination.
In the interview, Salim Khan said,
“Mafi mangna, ye accept karna hai ki maine maara hai. Salman ney kabhi kisi jaanwar ko nahi maara. Humne kabhi kisi coackroach ko bhi nahi maara. Hum inn cheejo me believe hi nhi karte (Apologising means admitting. Salman never killed any animal. We have never even killed any cockroach. We do not believe in these things).”
He further questioned, “Salman kissey jaake maafi maangey? Aapne kitne logo sey maafi mangi hai, kitne jaanwaro ki aapne jaan bachai hai? (Who should Salman apologise to? How many people have you apologised to, how many animals’ lives have you saved?)”
Salim Khan maintained his son’s innocence by saying that Salman had done nothing wrong. “Koi gunaah kiya hai?” he continued. Does it work that way? Jaanch padtaal ki hai, aapko maloom hai? He hasn’t used a bandook in a long time. Has he broken any laws? Have you encountered him? Have you looked into the situation? We have not even used one gun.
“Salman ney kaha main to tha bhi nahi us time, usko nahi shauk jaanwar maarne ka wo jaanwaro sey mohabbat karta hai,” he added. He is an animal lover.
Salim Khan stated that it would be unjustified to seek an apology.
“Maafi bhi usse maangi jaati hai jiske sath aapne gunaah kiya ho ya takleef di ho. Jisko dhokha diya ho, jiske paise kha gaye ho. Ye extortion hai (Apology is also sought from the person against whom you have committed a crime or caused trouble. The person whom you have cheated, whose money you have stolen. This is extortion),” he said.
Salim Khan Denies Any Connection Between Salman Khan and the Murder of Baba Siddiqui
In addition, Salim Khan refuted rumours that Salman was involved in NCP leader Baba Siddique’s murder, which had been raised in light of the actor and Siddique’s close relationship. He clarified that the family does not perceive any connection between the two incidents and finds it hard to fathom how one could ever make one. Salim Khan claims that if Lawrence Bishnoi is responsible for Siddique’s murder, it has nothing to do with Salman because it is related to another matter, most likely a property dispute.
