According to a Bloomberg story, Harish Ahuja, the father-in-law of Sonam Kapoor, paid £21 million, or approximately Rs 231.47 crore, for a house in the Notting Hill neighbourhood of London. Among the largest home transactions in the UK this year is this one. After it is redeveloped, Sonam and her husband, Anand Ahuja, intend to live on a portion of the land.
According to the same report, Harish purchased the eight-story residential convent in July. The 20,000-square-foot property is close to Kensington Gardens and offers ample room. The building was “previously owned by a UK registered charity and religious order,” according to the report. Sonam and Anand will occupy a portion of the land for their home, but another
