A customer who had cut open a hole in her pandemic facemask had left a supermarket clerk starting mainly because it makes breathing very easy.

Joe Samaan, working his shift outside Lexington at an SJ Food Mart, turned to look after a woman who intended to pay for gas. Unlike Joe’s hundreds of clients, the hole in the protective facemask of this woman caught his attention.
