You must have heard about the Tamil-rockers by now who have given sleepless nights to may film producers no matter it is Kollywood, Hollywood or Bollywood or any other film industries but the good news is that a few members (admins) of them have been arrested. According to a source, the Anti-Piracy cell has been successful in tracking them down. This site is said to have a link with international piracy rackets too.
The demand of the site Tamilrockers has been boomed in a very short time due to the high demand for movies downloading before it gets a release or if someone can’t afford to buy the ticket to go for the movie in the movie hall. The popularity of the website Tamilrockers has witnessed a sudden rise before the release of Movie “Kabali“, as the price of the tickets, in the beginning, was a hole to pocket. Producers of Movie “Kabali” thought to induct strict action against the site. Meantime another internationally popular piracy channel KickassTorrent went offline, as its host was arrested. Even though Tamil-rockers had a hard time in uploading the stolen copy of Kabali soon after its official release but later on they managed to do it.
The domains used by the Tamilrockers site recently are:
