Leila is a spine-chilling web TV series that takes inspiration from Prayaag Akbar ‘s eponymous novel Leila. The series is about Shalini, a girl who is on the hunt to find her daughter. The series is very brazen, and political imagery unfolds. It’s got six episodes and it went live on 14 June 2019.

2. Sacred Games

Sacred Games wasn’t made overnight, but a huge study has gone into making this show a great success. Even Sacred Games draws influence from the novel by Vikram Chandra for the uninitiated. The web series is about Sartaj Singh and Ganesh Gaitonde in which the antagonist is set to kill the city of Mumbai and the inspector reveals mysteries relevant to this coming massacre.

3. Bard Of Blood

Red Chillies entertainment, SRK’s production company, is also a front-runner when it comes to creating impactful web series. Bard of blood is a thriller based on Bilal Siddiqui ‘s novel by the same name. Even this Indian spy thriller is a perfect addition to your binge-watch list as it unveils an ex-RAW agent ‘s story. But, in the end, they were not intrigued by the ambitious attempt of the show to treat the audience with great action scenes.

The final call is yet another suspense series influenced by the 2015 novel by Priya Kumar, I Will Go With You: The Battle Of A Lifetime. The series revolves around the lives of passengers travelling to Sydney on a flight from Mumbai. It shows how their lives are threatened, as the captain on board is committing suicide.

7. State Of Siege: 26/11

Based on the book by Sandeep Unnithan, Black Tornado, State Of Siege:26/11 is a web-series that will take you back to Mumbai’s 26/11 incident. The terrorist attack is portrayed in this famous show along with the careful preparation that happened in 2008. Even this one day is a black day in Indian history that no one wants to see again. It has about eight episodes as far as the series goes, and is produced by Abhimanyu Singh.

Selection Day is a series which is based on the novel by Aravind Adiga.
