A person’s aesthetic sense of physical attractiveness is influenced by facial or bodily symmetry. Most of the time, our bodies, as well as our faces, are not perfectly symmetrical. As a result, we aren’t accustomed to witnessing this level of “perfection” in nature. When someone is perfectly symmetrical, it can be disturbing in certain circumstances and attractive in others.
