Kumar Sanu’s Affair: In the 1990s, one of the most well-known figures in the music business was Kumar Sanu. Together with fellow vocalist Alka Yagnik, his hit song “jodi” served as the soundtrack to every film they sang in. Kumar, whose true name is Kedarnath Bhattacharya, was also involved in some shady issues of his own.

In the mid-1980s, Kumar Sanu wed Rita Bhattacharya. The two are claimed to have known one another from their time in Kolkata, and Sanu brought her to Mumbai as he married and pursued a career in Bollywood. In 1988, they were blessed with their first son, Jessy. Two more sons, Jeeko and Jaan, followed.
They had a small, contented family and life was lovely. Sanu gained a lot of notoriety and recognition during this period as he ascended the success ladder. Problems began to arise in 1993 when Sanu had the shortest-lived affair of the time with lesser-known actress Kunika Lal.
Kumar Sanu’s Affair With Meenakshi Seshadri
His marriage to Rita Bhattacharya failed in the 1980s, and his sexual encounter with Meenakshi Seshadri became the talk of the town. This was the lowest point in his personal life.
The two reportedly met and clicked at the premiere of Mahesh Bhatt’s Jurm, which featured the well-known song Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye, sung by Sanu and filmed on Meenakshi.
It seems that the affair was kept hidden for more than three years until his secretary told a tabloid about it in 1993, which clearly caused a breach between him and his wife. She claimed that although Kumar has a number of “girlfriends,” he is currently seeing well-known actress Meenakshi Seshadri.
Kumar and his spouse left for Splitsville following a legal dispute. In 1995, Meenkashi married an investment banker in the United States, and Kumar Sanu later married his second wife, Saloni.

Their permanent base is in London, where they reside with their mother. Shannon, the eldest daughter, followed in her father’s footsteps by releasing her English music CD in the UK in 2014.
Kumar Sanu Affair With Kuncikaa Sadanand
In the most recent preview of the next show, Kuncikaa Sadanand disclosed that she has been hiding her live-in relationship with Kumar Sanu for the past 27 years while sitting with other contestants. When asked if he was her husband, she disclosed that they were living together. The actress also revealed that he told her he had started seeing another woman while they were together. As stated by Kuncikaa:
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Kunickaa first talked about her relationship with Kumar Sanu. She revealed that they had a six-year relationship and were like husband and wife. They occurred to cross paths while she was filming in Ooty.
