He explained that the purpose of the t-shirt was to subtly convey his feelings rather than to create drama. Chahal stated,
“Meko nahi karna tha drama, I just wanted to give one message aur maine vo de diya.”
He implied that he chose to wear the shirt because of anything that occurred on Dhanashree’s end. He went on to say,
“Kyunki saamne se kuch cheez hua tha, aur mera pehle mann nahi tha. Fir saamne se kuch hua toh maine kaha ab sambhal lo, ab mujhe nahi parwah kisi ki.”

“People will make life hell for my female friends.”
