Many of us have celebrity crushes, and it’s no surprise that we fantasise about marrying one. Even while it may seem inconceivable to some of us to even cross paths with them, celebrities have a much easier time with this portion. Some celebrities have been fortunate enough to not only meet, but even marry, their celebrity crushes, making their dreams come true.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey first met in 2005 at the Teen Choice Awards, when Cannon presented Carey with an award. Before they started dating, Cannon admitted that he liked Carey. He couldn’t keep what he was feeling to himself at the moment, so he only stated positive things about her in interviews.

When Carey approached Cannon after hearing one of his interviews, he told her, “They’re true!” Just give me a chance to make them a reality!”

No one thought Cannon could be “the one” for Carey, but he proved them wrong, and the pair married three years after meeting. Despite their six-year separation, Carey and Nick remain friends and co-parent their twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

Mila Kunis’ first actual kiss was with Ashton Kutcher when she was 14 years old on That ’70s Show. Even though Kunis had a crush on Kutcher from the moment they met (even before their first kiss), it took them more than a decade to become a couple.

Better late than never, Kunis married her first kiss in 2015, and the couple now has two children together.

Before they met, Josh Duhamel had a thing on Fergie, his now ex-wife. He pulled out the impromptu card and asked the producer to invite Fergie and her band, The Black Eyed Peas, to his show in Las Vegas. Needless to say, his strategy worked, and they began dating.

The couple married in 2009 and welcomed their son, Axl, in 2013. Sadly, Duhamel and Fergie split up four years later.

Before they started dating, Kanye West had his eye on Kim Kardashian. He admitted to having a crush on Kardashian since 2006, when he spotted a photo of her with Paris Hilton.

Kardashian was still married to her now-ex-husband, NBA player Kris Humphries, when they started dating in 2012, but the divorce was formalised in 2013. Kardashian and West got engaged on Kardashian’s thirty-third birthday the same year, and married the following year.

Even before they started dating, Wiz Khalifa was drawn to Amber Rose, and he didn’t conceal it. When asked in an interview if there was one female in the world he would like to be with, Khalifa replied, “Amber Rose.”

Rose didn’t take it lying down, and she sent him a note on Twitter. They married in 2013 after falling in love. Their marriage, however, was short-lived, and they divorced a year later.

Jason Momoa had a childhood crush on Lisa Bonet. When Momoa was eight years old, he was watching The Cosby Show, and when he saw his now-wife, Bonet, on the screen, he said to his mother, “Mommy, I want that one.”

When the couple began dating in 2005, Momoa’s fantasy came true. They were married lawfully in 2017 and have two children together.

On the set of one of Adam Sandler’s most popular films, Big Daddy, Jackie Titone met her soulmate. Despite the fact that Titone was cast for a minor role as a bartender, she and Sandler were able to bond on set and began dating shortly after.

They have two girls together and have been happily married since 2003.

When asked what physical attributes he admires in a 2014 interview, Joe Manganiello simply answered, “Sofia Vergara, that’s it.”

Manganiello and Vergara dated for a year before marrying in 2015. “I actually got married to my famous crush,” Manganiello said without hesitation in a 2017 interview when asked who his celebrity infatuation was.

Kelly Preston said that she had a flash when she was 16 years old and spotted a poster of John Travolta as she walked out of a theatre, knowing that one day she would be with him. She recalls thinking to herself after seeing the billboard, “I’m going to marry that man,” and she did. They married in 1991 after meeting in 1987 and were married for 29 years till Kelly died in 2020.

When you were younger, who was your celebrity crush? Would you marry them today if you had the chance?
