To trick the internet into thinking he is dating his 76-year-old grandma, a teenager has been pretending to be dating her for a year. He even claimed to be pregnant. To his 3.1 million TikTok fans, 19-year-old Giuseppe D’anna has posted multiple videos insinuating that Milina Gatta is his girlfriend.

He also startled his 80,000 Instagram followers earlier this month when he revealed he had a child with Ms Gatta, who is 57 years his senior. But between the couple, it doesn’t seem to be all that it seems.

The Italian adolescent informed the news agency JamPress that the claims were only a ruse to become well-known on the internet and that the entire relationship was fake. “You’re right, Milina is my grandmother,” he said.

When Mr D’anna and his grandmother posted details of their purported relationship online in May of last year and then announced they were engaged, they went viral. The teen’s supporters began to find flaws in his tale once he revealed these details, along with the information of a claimed pregnancy, with some even going so far as to call it ‘impossible’.

One viewer said, “When grandma reaches her menopausal stage, it’s impossible to get pregnant.” “She’s old enough to be your greatest grandma,” another person said.

In a more recent video, however, some people seemed to still be duped, saying, “I thought that was your grandma, but when I saw y’all kissing.”

In this video, Mr. D’anna is shown flaunting things that his “girlfriend” gave him. The teenager claimed that the Versace shoes and sports automobile belonged to his 76-year-old boyfriend. Although most remarks were unclear, others seemed to think the scam was real.

“Woop woop,” exclaimed one person. That’s the sound of law enforcement. Others wrote: “If it gives you a profit, go for it,” praising Mr. D’anna’s financial acumen. A third person said, “Bro, I thought it was your grandma.”

Several viewers even publicly endorsed the fictitious relationship when images of a purported proposal and even an ultrasound surfaced.

“They seem like a happy couple who don’t want to spend time explaining things most people don’t understand,” someone remarked.
