Fans have been talking about Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron’s return to the big screen in their most recent romantic comedy, thanks to the teases they’ve posted on social media. Zac’s altered appearance surprised a lot of people, some of whom had trouble identifying him.

Fans got a sneak peek at their most recent picture, A Family Affair, from the trailer, which focused mainly on the sultry moments starring the 36-year-old actress and the 56-year-old Oscar winner.

The movie centres on Joey King’s character Zara, a young lady who works as an assistant to Zac’s character, Chris Cole, a conceited and womanising Hollywood star. When Zara finds out that he is having an affair, she is outraged and decides to leave her position working for him.

The rom-com trailer elicited a wide range of reactions from fans, especially for the sequences that featured Zac and Nicole’s characters in suggestive settings. Some thought it was difficult to believe in their on-screen love because of the age difference or the lack of chemistry.

“She is a lot older than he is?” On social media, someone questioned, “Isn’t he young enough to be her son?” Someone else said. One admirer voiced doubt, writing, “Weird couple!!!” There must not be any chemistry, in my opinion! Haha.

Other remarks emphasised Zac Efron’s altered look and challenges identifying him. “Zac Efron looks older than Nicole Kidman, why?” a commenter said. “All I see is Botox, hyaluronic acid, and faces barely giving expressions,” or “He’s thirty-six.” “Why would Zack do this to his face?” and “Zac and Nicole’s faces both look like they have face transplants” were two more comments made.

Some people were ecstatic to see the pair together on TV. A fan remarked, “It’s great to see a role reversal with a younger man and an older woman!”

Zac Efron discussed how his face was affected by a near-death experience that almost cost him his life.
