A normal lift ride turned deeply unpleasant at a high-rise society in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, after a man was caught on CCTV urinating inside the elevator — and continued doing so even as the doors opened on multiple floors.
The incident took place on Monday evening at Shipra Krishna Vista Society. The CCTV footage, said to be from the F-2 Tower lift, shows the man entering the lift and then urinating inside it.
What Makes the Video Striking
What made the footage particularly shocking was that the lift stopped at several floors during the act, with its doors opening each time. Despite this, the man continued urinating before eventually getting off at his floor and walking away.
The incident soon became a problem for other residents. A foul smell filled the lift, prompting several people to complain to the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) and the maintenance department. After checking the CCTV footage, the man was identified. A resident later shared the recording on social media.
