At just four years old, a little girl from Bhubaneswar put her big feelings into words and pictures. Today, at six, Anvi Vishesh Agrawal holds two Guinness World Records.

She is recognised as the youngest female person to publish a bilingual book and the youngest female person to deliver a TEDx talk.

The Book That Started It All

Anvi’s journey began with Little Girl, Big Emotions, a bilingual book written in English and Spanish. She was only 4 years and 254 days old when it was published. She not only wrote the book but also illustrated it herself.

The idea came from her own experience. Anvi told Guinness World Records that her emotions sometimes felt bigger than her — like a “volcano” ready to erupt. That feeling led her to a simple but powerful message: children should not feel strange or alone because of their emotions.

“Emotions are okay. We just need to talk about them,” she said.

The book encourages children her age to recognise their feelings and express them calmly instead of suppressing them. It sold more than 1,167 copies in its first week, and Anvi went on to hold book-signing events at bookstores across India.

She recently visited the Guinness World Records headquarters in London and got a sneak peek of the 2027 edition, where she appears as a Young Achiever with a full page dedicated to her.

From Author to TEDx Speaker

About a year after her first record, Anvi added a second one. She became the youngest female TEDx speaker with a four-minute talk titled “Creativity is a Superpower.”

Writing is not her only creative outlet. Anvi also paints and has been creating art from a very young age. By the time she was two, she had already made more than 72 paintings. Her work has been exhibited in Mumbai, Gurugram and Dubai, and has also been displayed at Dubai World Art.

Beyond Books and Art

In 2021, Anvi launched the Anvi Happiness Foundation, which focuses on sustainable living and eco-friendly celebrations. Her interests clearly go beyond personal achievement — she is also trying to spread messages of emotional awareness and environmental care.

When asked what it feels like to hold two Guinness World Records, Anvi gave an answer that was pure childhood joy:
“It feels like eating 2 ice creams at once, amazing and sweet.”
