17 Young Actors That Will Soon Steal the Spotlight From Hollywood Superstars

It’s frightening to realise that your favourite stars are 40, and some are even 50 years old. We don’t need to be conservative and only watch old-school actors, even if they’re still excellent on film. More than that, the younger generation is equally impressive and fascinating to observe.

Angelina Jolie — Margaret Qualley

Many moviegoers first saw this young girl in Hollywood’s Once Upon a Time… Margaret Qualley played a hippy and captured the hearts of millions of people. Her acting career began earlier, but it was for the Tarantino film that she was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Natalie Portman — Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown is best known for her portrayal as Eleven in the Netflix series Stranger Things. Brown starred as Enola Holmes in the film Enola Holmes, which was released in 2020.

Halle Berry — Zendaya

The actress’s most noteworthy role in her career is Michelle in two Spider-Man films, which she played twice. But this isn’t her only accomplishment. In 2020, Zendaya got an Emmy award for the show Euphoria.

Audrey Tautou — Anya Taylor-Joy

This young lady rose to fame after starring in Robert Eggers’ novel The Witch. She then starred in M. Night Shyamalan’s films Split and Glass. She also appeared in the fifth season of Peaky Blinders.

Matthew McConaughey — Charlie Plummer

When Charlie Plummer starred in Ridley Scott’s criminal film All the Money in the World, his career took off quickly. Plummer is now working on a number of projects, and we should expect to see him on the big screen shortly.

Javier Bardem — Noah Centineo

The Fosters, a TV show, has given the young actor a boost. He’s done other things previously, but this is his most memorable performance. Noah Centineo was also in the Netflix film To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Centineo is currently negotiating a role in the Masters of the Universe reboot.

Honor Byrne — Tilda Swinton (the daughter of Tilda Swinton)

Honor obviously inherited her mother’s colourful and striking features. Joanna Hogg’s film The Souvenir was her debut. She was even nominated for a British Independent Film Awards nomination.

Renée Zellweger — Erin Moriarty

Erin has worked on the same set as Mel Gibson and is currently starring in the hit drama The Boys, which is based on the comic book.
