Jaiah Fern, a 22-year-old student, was at an Asda store in London’s Isle of Dogs East when she was approached by a male employee who attempted to eject her due to her attire. After being warned that she was virtually n*ked and shouldn’t be here, the shopper was asked to leave the store. Jaiah wore a hoodie, crop top, and jogging bottoms in a now-viral Twitter video.
An Asda male employee allegedly sought to eject Jaiah for not wearing enough clothes and being “basically n*ked.”
She could be heard alleging that the employee alleging she “didn’t respect herself” in the recording. “It’s not because you don’t respect yourself; we have a policy in ASDA,” the employee was also overheard saying. We can almost see your body. “The manager is on his way immediately.”
The 22-year-old student was dressed in a white blouse, sweatpants, and a hoodie when she entered the Asda supermarket in London.

“So tonight in ASDA, Isle of Dogs, I was told by a staff that I wasn’t wearing enough clothes, that I wasn’t respecting myself, I’m virtually nude and I shouldn’t be in there,” Jaiah said on Twitter, describing the encounter as “the most horrible conduct.” Asda has apologized to Jaiah and stated that they have initiated an investigation into what happened.
In her caption, Jaiah remarked, “Honestly, the most awful act.”

“Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Jaiah. This is not an Asda policy, and we apologize for the service you got. I’ve spoken with the store manager about this situation, and I’d be pleased to talk about how we can make things right for you?” On Twitter, Asda stated.
Asda has since apologised to Jaiah and stated that an investigation has been initiated.
Asda insisted, “Thank you for bringing this to our attention.”
