Ratan Tata, an industrialist, and philanthropist is one of India’s most powerful business leaders. He is well-known for his modesty, as shown by numerous examples. He is a living example of what a true gentleman is because virtues like compassion and empathy are not for all.
Tata demonstrated this perfectly when he posted a photo on Instagram to thank his fans.
Ratan Tata celebrated his 1M milestone in 2019 by posting a photo of himself on Instagram, where he was seen sitting on the floor and candidly smiling. In a post commemorating the achievement, he wrote, “I’ve just noticed that the number of people on this page has hit a milestone.” This wonderful online family is not what I expected when I joined Instagram, and I credit you for that.”
Among the several messages of congratulations, one woman addressed him as ‘Chhotu.’ Despite her good intentions, online trolls started attacking her.
She also defended her use of the word ‘Chhotu,’ calling it an endearing term and writing that since Ratan Tata was a “idol for everyone,” she could say whatever she wanted out of love.
But, just as things were about to get nasty, Ratan Tata came to her rescue and responded to the statement, saying, “There is a child in each of us.” Please be respectful to this young lady.”
When the slamming didn’t end, the female Instagram user deleted the comment, which irritated Ratan Tata, and he chose to discuss it in three Instagram stories.
