Following his grilling by Salman Khan, Ashneer Grover is now receiving even more criticism on social media for his abrupt shift in demeanour when interacting with the Bollywood actor. A video of presenter Salman Khan greeting the former managing director of BharatPe to Bigg Boss 18 went viral on social media. The former managing director will be featured in a future episode of the show.

Salman Khan is seen in the video addressing Ashneer Grover about his past, contentious remarks regarding the Dabangg star.
But to the astonishment of social media, Grover completely changed his mind when speaking with Salman Khan on Bigg Boss. This time, the former Shark Tank India panellist was unusually subdued, in contrast to his previous harsh and even contemptuous remarks about Salman Khan.
Ashneer Grover’s remarks against Salman Khan
“Usko humne sponsor rakha tha, uske shoot ke liye mila tha, usko brief karne ke liye company ke baare mein. Teen ghante baitha tha uske saath, uske manager ne bol diya photo nahi khichwani, sir thoda bura maan jaate hain. Maine bola nahi khichwaunga photo, bhaad mein jaa tu, aisi kaunsi heropanti hogayi (We kept him as a sponsor and I met him at a shoot to tell him about our company. I sat with him for three hours and his manager said that there will be no photos with him as ‘Sir’ doesn’t like it. I said fine I won’t do it. Go to hell, why so much attitude),” Ashneer had said.
Last year, Ashneer Grover discussed how he was not permitted to take a picture with Salman when he appeared on the Vagehra Vagehra program.
A shift in attitude?
It was impossible for social media users to ignore how Grover called Salman “sir” and tried to mock his previous remarks when they met on the Bigg Boss set.

On social media, a promotional video from the performance was extensively shared. An X user named Prayag shared the video on X and commented, “Observe how Ashneer stands and speaks in front of Salman.”
On the social media platform controlled by Elon Musk, the video generated amusing responses.
He says, “Humne Salman ko itne mein kharid lia,” in the podcast. He says, “Sir, sir, sir,” in front of him. Dhruv, an X user, wrote, “Dogalapan at peak.”
Another said, “He can’t talk in front of Salman.”
An X user remarked, “Until a real gangster shows up, everyone is a gangster.”
Talk between toppers and backbenchers. Someone joked, “The aggression is gone.”
