The Bengaluru techie’s in-laws are reportedly on the run after threatening media for covering Atul Subhash’s suicide yesterday. After being identified in a police FIR under sections 108 and 3(5) of the BNS, they fled their Jaunpur home to avoid being arrested. Social media users have been sharing a video of Nisha Singhania, Subhash’s mother-in-law, riding a bike out of her house late at night. Anurag Singhania, Subhash’s brother-in-law, is also said to have left the house.
The main door of Subhash’s estranged wife Nikita Singhania’s Jaunpur residence was closed when a CNN-News18 team went there. The team was met with silence when they attempted to speak with Subhash’s in-laws.
On Monday morning, Atul Subhash, a 34-year-old technician who worked in Bengaluru, sadly passed away. He left behind a 24-page suicide note and a 90-minute film in which he claimed that his estranged wife and her relatives had harassed him. Subhash claimed that he took this fatal deed as a result of their behaviour.
The family of Atul Subhash’s wife has come out as the calls for justice for him continue to intensify, asserting that they bear no responsibility for his passing. They said they were sorry for Subhash’s suicide in a previous interview with CNN-News18, but they said they were innocent.

“What transpired is not our fault. We will soon provide all of the evidence. There is nothing wrong with us. “We are sorry for Atul’s passing,” Nikita Singhania’s family stated.
Justice and strong action against those they believe were guilty for Subhash’s death have been demanded by his family. They stressed that in order to guarantee that his soul rests in peace, such measures are required. They claimed to be unaware that he was considering taking such an extreme measure.
